Design of integrated Guidance and control system in the pitch channel using observer based chattering free sliding mode theory
Authors
Abstract:
The design of integrated guidance and control system for flying objects is one of the research fields in the aerospace that is considered by researchers in recent years. Due to the nonlinearity of the kinematic and dynamic equations of the homing interceptors in the terminal phase and also existence of uncertainties such as target maneuvers, external disturbances and variations in aerodynamic coefficients, siding mode control theory is a suitable method for designing integrated guidance and control system. One of the most problem of sliding mode is the presence of high frequency oscillations in the control signal that is called chattering, which makes it impossible to implement this controller. A method for smoothing the control signal in a sliding mode is to use a disturbance observer. In this paper, the control signal is completely smooth, with having the disturbances estimation and using a different scheme compared with standard sliding mode. Also the finite time convergence is guaranteed in the presence of uncertainty. The proposed guidance and control system is evaluated in computer simulation.

Chattering free full-order sliding-mode control
In conventional sliding-mode control systems, the sliding-mode motion is of reduced order. Two main problems hindering the application of the sliding-mode control are the singularity in terminal slidingmode control systems and the chattering in both the conventional linear sliding-mode and the terminal sliding-mode control systems. This paper proposes a chattering-free full-order terminal-slidi...
full textOn Chattering-free Discrete-time Sliding Mode Control Design
A sliding mode control method is presented for linear multi-variable discrete-time systems, without introducing a discontinuous term to eliminate control chattering. Instead of a strong nonlinear function like switching introducing chattering problem in discrete-time, a linear control is designed around the sliding surface. Although not producing a strong acting control around the sliding surfa...

This paper studies the design of a robust output feedback controller subject to actuator saturation. For this purpose, a robust high-gain sliding mode observer is used to estimate the state variables. Moreover, the combination of Composite Nonlinear Feedback (CNF) and Integral Sliding Mode (ISM) controllers are used for robust output tracking. This controller consists of two parts, the CNF part...

A new result that allows the selection of sliding hyperplane coeecients in Observer-Based Discrete-Time Sliding Mode Control (OBDSMC) is presented. Selection of co-eecients is done by analyzing the tracking error dynamics inside the boundary layer-where the closed-loop system has a linear state feedback connguration-rather than assuming that the sliding function has already converged to zero. T...
full textRobust Chattering Free Sliding Mode Control of Servo Drives
A new discrete-time control algorithm has been developed by combining Variable Structure Systems (VSS) and Lyapunov design. It possesses all the good properties of the sliding mode control and avoids the unnecessary discontinuity of the control input, thus eliminating chattering which has been considered as a serious obstacle for applications of VSS. A unified control approach for the stator cu...

In this paper, a control strategy with a condition to find proper function in chattering free Adaptive Sliding Mode Control (ASMC) is proposed. To show the feasibility of existence of represented functions, there kind of proper functions evaluate in this article. The effectiveness of our introduced functions and schemes is provided by simulation.
